Is studying in the U. S. worth it?

I am italian-american, and all my life I've wanted to go to high school in the U.S.

Next year it would be my last chance to do a year of high school there. Would it be worth it, since I want to go to college there? or would I regret it, since I have to leave my life in italy, my friends, ect...

Answer on Is studying in the U.S. worth it?

Gemma, your written English is perfect. Better than that of many Americans.

Please type "student exchange programs" in your browser. You will get many websites that will explain lots of information that may be of use to you. You would probably need a host family to make this happen.

If you do decide to come where you choose to go may make difference. Most states in the north eastern quarter of the U.S has large Italian /American communities, where as anything west of the Mississippi River will not. Good Luck

PS: American boys will find you very exotic.
